This notice applies solely to residents of the State of California (“Consumers” or “you”) and supplements Soltera’s Privacy Policy. It is provided in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”).

- The categories of third parties to whom personal information may be disclosed

- Directly from you when you register or use Soltera
- Automatically from your device and interactions with the service
- From service providers that support operation, security, and improvement of the platform

- Proximity or location-based features using precise geolocation data
- Messaging, matching, and other core features

5. Use of Sensitive Personal Information
Soltera collects and uses sensitive personal information, including precise geolocation, only as necessary to provide the Soltera service. Soltera does not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a consumer to exercise a right to limit use under the CPRA.
6. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
Soltera does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
However, California law defines “sale” and “sharing” broadly, including certain disclosures to third parties for analytics, security, or advertising measurement via cookies or similar technologies. Such disclosures may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law even though Soltera does not engage in traditional monetized data sales.
7. Your Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing
California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. You may exercise this right by contacting Soltera (see Section 12). Soltera will honor valid opt-out requests in accordance with California law.
8. Retention of Personal Information
Soltera retains personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described here, to comply with legal obligations, and to support dispute resolution and enforcement of agreements.
Safety and Security Retention
- Up to 3 months after voluntary account closure
- Up to 5 years if the account was terminated for violation of terms, safety incidents, or abuse
Legal and Compliance Retention
- Transaction and payment information: Up to 10 years
- Technical and traffic logs: Up to 2 years
- Records of consents: Up to 5 years
Legitimate Interest Retention
- Customer support records: Up to 5 years
- Profile information: Up to 1 year
- Data necessary to prevent re-registration of banned users: For as long as necessary
Legal Holds and Outstanding Issues
If there is an active investigation, legal claim, subpoena, or dispute requiring preservation, Soltera may retain personal information beyond the periods described above as necessary to comply with legal obligations and participate in legal proceedings.
De-Identified and Aggregated Data
Where legally permitted, Soltera may retain and use data that has been de-identified or aggregated so it cannot be used to identify you. Such data may be used indefinitely for analytics, research, service improvement, and safety purposes.
9. Your California Privacy Rights
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of personal information collected about you

- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information

To protect your privacy, Soltera may verify your identity before responding to certain requests. Verification methods vary depending on the request and information sensitivity.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request. Soltera may require proof of authorization and direct identity verification.
