Last Revised: November 5, 2025

1. Introduction

At Soltera (“we”, “us”, “our”), we believe privacy is an essential part of trust. As a dating app designed for intentional and authentic singles, we are committed to protecting your personal information and giving you clarity about how we collect, use, and share your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Soltera mobile apps (iOS and Android), website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy applies to you when you:
• Create or use a Soltera account.
• Interact with the Services (for example, browse profiles, send messages, or subscribe).
• Visit our website or engage with any feature connected to Soltera.

If we provide a feature or service with its own privacy notice, that notice will apply instead.

3. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information when you use the Soltera app, website, and related Services. This helps us operate securely, personalize your experience, and improve how we connect members.

Profile and Account Data:
When you create or use a Soltera account, you provide information such as name, gender, date of birth, location, profile photos, personal bio, and interests. We also collect email address, mobile number (if provided), and selfie photo.

Content You Post or Share includes profile photos, messages, prompts, videos, and other materials you upload or send through the app.

Payment and Purchase Data: when you subscribe or make in-app purchases, we collect transaction details. All payment processing is handled through trusted third-party providers.

Automatically Collected or Generated Data includes usage data, device and technical data, and, if granted, geolocation data (latitude and longitude coordinates). You can disable location sharing at any time, though some features may not function properly.

Information from Third Parties: We may receive data from social login providers (e.g., Apple or Google), analytics and anti-fraud partners, and other users who report activity.

5. How We Share Information

We share your information only when necessary to operate our service, comply with the law, or serve legitimate business purposes.

With other users: Your public profile information—such as name, age, photos, and bio—is visible to other members.

With service providers and partners: We use trusted third parties for hosting, analytics, payments, and marketing support. Advertising partners help promote Soltera and measure ad effectiveness.

With affiliates and in business transfers: If Soltera or Swift Tech LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

For legal and law enforcement purposes: We may disclose information to comply with laws, court orders, or to cooperate with authorities in investigations.

With your consent: We may share your information when you connect with a third-party integration or feature.

6. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Soltera is a global service, and your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in countries other than your own. We take appropriate measures to ensure your privacy rights remain protected, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses or similar safeguards. By using our Services, you acknowledge that your data may be processed outside your country of residence, consistent with this Policy.

7. Your Rights and Choices

We want you to feel in control of your information. Soltera provides tools and options to help you manage, access, and update your data.

Tools to Control Your Information:
• Access and Update Tools: Manage or delete your information directly through account settings. Contact us at contact@soltera.app for assistance.
• Device Permissions: Control access to your device’s contacts, camera, or location via your device settings.

Key Points to Remember:
You have rights to review, correct, or request deletion of your data. Requests should be sent to contact@soltera.app. We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests and may deny those that violate others’ privacy or legal obligations.

Uninstalling the App:
You can stop data collection by uninstalling the app. If reinstalled on the same device, your identifier may reconnect to past activity.

Accountability and Complaints:
If you are in a region with privacy oversight, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California users may request details on categories of personal information shared for marketing by contacting contact@soltera.app.

8. How Long We Retain Your Information

We keep your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, support the safe operation of our Services, comply with legal obligations, and protect our legitimate business interests.

After you delete your account, or if your account is banned, we retain certain data for a defined “safety retention window” to investigate misconduct and protect our community:
• Up to 3 months if you voluntarily close your account.
• Up to five (5) years if your account is terminated or banned.

Banned or Removed Users:
If your account is permanently banned or removed for violating our Terms or community guidelines, we may retain limited personal information for up to five (5) years to:
• Prevent re-registration of banned users;
• Support ongoing safety investigations or fraud prevention;
• Comply with legal or law-enforcement obligations; and
• Protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Soltera community.

In cases involving serious safety issues (such as threats, harassment, or criminal behavior), we may retain data for a longer period where required or permitted by law.

We also retain certain data as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations, including:
• Transaction and payment information for up to 10 years;
• Technical and traffic logs for up to 2 years; and
• Consent records (for example, marketing or tracking opt-ins) for up to 5 years.

We may keep limited information under our legitimate interests to handle disputes, prevent banned users from re-registering, or maintain compliance and audit records. Retention for these purposes may vary depending on context and risk but generally will not exceed 5 years, unless a legal issue remains unresolved.

If your account remains inactive for 6 months or longer, we may close or archive it and then apply the retention practices described above.

Once personal data is anonymized or aggregated so that it can no longer reasonably identify you, we may retain and use it indefinitely for analytics, research, and service improvement.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and personalize your experience.

10. Children’s Privacy

Soltera is intended for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect or allow anyone under 18 to use the Services.

11. How We Protect Your Information

We implement industry-standard security measures — including encryption, limited access controls, and monitoring — to protect your data from unauthorized access or misuse.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
